2009 Salary Data Available at NSC

The 2009 Compensation and Benefits Survey for Southern California is available at all three NSC Resource Centers. The annual survey and report is conducted by the Center for Nonprofit Management in Los Angeles.
The data allows you to have a better understanding of compensation and benefits practices of nonprofits in our region. This information can be used to set equitable pay rates, determine program budgets, and comply with IRS regulations. View the table of contents by clicking on the link below.

You can stop by NSC to view the complete survey, request up to ten pages of data, or purchase your own complete report from the Center for Nonprofit Management in Los Angeles. Fund Development Research Tools
NSC offers several workshops and events on the different types of fundraising as well as library materials. In addition, NSC subscribes to two databases which can assist you in researching potential funders. Both the Foundation Center Directory Online and Noza Search are available through NSC's computer labs for member organizations. Members are required to attend the Finding Funding on the Web workshop to become oriented with the different features and tools before using the databases. - Foundation Center Directory Online
Foundation Center is an online database of grantmakers and grants. Search more than 300,000 grantmaker profiles and learn who's on their board, what kind of gifts they've made, what their criteria is, their purpose, and more. Through membership with NSC you have access to a Premium Subscription valued at $2000.
- Noza Search
Noza is a searchable database of charitable gifts or giving histories. Through membership you can search through more than 40 million records of gifts given to nonprofit organizations. Noza is a great tool for understanding the giving patterns of your donors or potential donors. Through membership with NSC you have access to all the features of Noza valued at $800.
